Compressed Air Cleaning

Compressed air cleaning is often used in bulk material sampling to minimize the risk of contamination between samples. This is particularly important when using a sampling device that takes multiple samples consecutively without being fully cleaned between samples.

Compressed air cleaning helps to remove residues of the previous bulk material that may still be present in the sampling device. By removing these residues, it ensures that the subsequent sample is not contaminated by material from the previous sample. This is especially important when the samples are being tested for characteristics such as chemical composition, moisture content, or particle size, which could be altered by the presence of material from a previous sample.

In some cases, compressed air cleaning can also help to protect the sampling device itself by preventing material from remaining and accumulating in the device, which could lead to blockages or other issues.
