DIN rail

A DIN rail, also known as a mounting rail, is a metal rail used in electrical engineering and automation technology to mount various types of devices, such as switch cabinet components or control devices. The name "DIN rail" comes from its shape, which resembles a hat when viewed from the side.

In the context of bulk material sampling, a DIN rail could be used to mount devices used for controlling or monitoring the sampling process. This could include sensors, switches, controllers, or other types of automation or control devices.

Using a DIN rail offers several advantages. Firstly, it simplifies the installation and removal of devices, as they can be easily snapped onto or removed from the rail. Secondly, it allows for a flexible and customizable arrangement of devices, as they can be moved and rearranged along the rail. Thirdly, it contributes to orderliness and cleanliness in the control cabinet by providing a well-defined and standardized mounting surface.

It should be noted that using a DIN rail and the corresponding selection and arrangement of devices require expertise and should be done considering the specific requirements and conditions of the sampling process.
