Load Cell

A "load cell" is a type of sensor used to measure force or load. It converts mechanical stress (compressive or tensile stress) into electrical signals, which can then be interpreted. Load cells are used in a wide range of applications, from industrial scales to measurement systems in the manufacturing industry.

For example, in bulk sampling, load cells are used to measure the weight of samples taken or to monitor the flow of material in a sampling system.
